John is a passionate and skilled Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with over 7 years of private clinical practice. John believes that everyone can benefit from a whole-person approach to health through effective assessment and management of the musculoskeletal system. He has successfully completed the 5 year program from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (Toronto). John also successfully defended his thesis research paper, qualifying him to receive his Diploma in the Science of Osteopathy, with distinction.
Prior to discovering Osteopathy, John is a graduate from the University of Guelph Humber - Human Kinetics (2017), with a specialty in strength and conditioning. He worked as a Strength & Conditioning coach at St Andrews College (Aurora) for 3 years, prior to embarking on his Osteopathic journey. John's exemplary knowledge, holistic therapeutic approach and hands-on skill, supports his clients in their Osteopathic needs. John works closely with allied healthcare professionals and he takes the time to understand your individual history, circumstances and unique physiology to provide a package of osteopathic care that is tailored to your needs. This can include manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises, screening and general health advice.
Johns area of interest is supporting his patients who are experiencing a wide range of common health issues including postural compensations, recent sports injuries, chronic aches and pains, sore joints and osteoarthritis, headaches and migraines, disc herniations, sciatica, scoliosis, tennis arm and elbow, concussion and whiplash, digestive issues, chronic and undiagnosed pain, TMJ, vertigo, and breathing and sinus issues.
John is a devoted husband, a father of 2 young daughters and a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).
